As Caledonia moves forward with its rural economic development cohort, which began in January 2024, the group reached the milestone of community outreach.

The cohort’s first phase consists of assessment and community outreach. In its first six months, it has established a core team, a chair, a name and a logo; reviewed Caledonia’s Development Opportunity Profile; created its charge (to advance entrepreneurship and community prosperity) with a six-pronged approach; and was assigned a community coach. Now the group is ready to share about its progress and engage the community.
