When it comes to Green Day, to quote the opening line of their track “Horseshoes and Handgrenades,” “I’M NOT (MESSING) AROUND.”

That was certainly true this past Saturday, Aug. 17, when they brought their Saviors Tour to Target Field. This was to be the third time I’ve seen my favorite band of all time, and it was obviously going to be the most important: They were going to play their two most successful albums, “Dookie” and “American Idiot,” IN FULL to celebrate their respective 30th and 20th anniversaries.
