According to Wright County Sheriff’s Office, a robbery of a purse took place in the parking lot of New Horizon Academy in St. Michael on Jan. 15, at about 8:17 a.m. Wright County Deputies responded to the childcare center at 4390 Oakwood Parkway NE and spoke with an adult female.

The victim stated she interrupted an unarmed adult male stealing her purse out of her running vehicle in front of the building. A physical struggle ensued, and the suspect took off with the purse in a separate vehicle.
