The 2025 state high school softball championship games will be held at Jane Sage Cowles Stadium at the University of Minnesota after the Minnesota State High School League approved a request from the softball coaches association.

The MSHSL Board of Directors approved the change at its Dec. 5 meeting. It applies only to the four championship games, which would be Friday, June 6. All other tournament games in all four classes would be played at Caswell Park in North Mankato from June 4-6. Caswell Park is the longtime state tournament site, and the MSHSL board expressed reluctance to move the entire tournament away from North Mankato.
