Minnesota’s entire $19 billion surplus has been squandered by extreme democrat mismanagement, leaving Minnesota with a shocking $5.1 billion deficit. In just two years of their one-party control, democrats have turned the state budget into a train wreck.

How did they do it? A 40% increase in spending, rampant waste, fraud, and abuse, and $10 billion in tax hikes on every single Minnesotan. Instead of heeding republican caution or working together, democrats ignored common sense and chose to appease only democrat special interest allies. Families and taxpayers begged for relief, but democrats treated Minnesotans as a bottomless piggy bank.
