The University of Minnesota Landscape Arboretum is lighting up its Chanhassen campus with the annual Winter Lights display Nov. 21 through Jan. 5. Neighboring South Lake and Minnetonka residents are welcome to come enjoy over 1 million twinkling lights, holiday music, snacks and beverages, as well as select theme nights.

In the seven years that Winter Lights has been an annual event, a new attraction has been set up for 2024. The “Winter Woods” display shows, for the first time, light-up deer and moose standing by campfires and glowing tents, tents which have been specially handcrafted by those working on the Winter Lights display.
