The Anoka-Hennepin School Board holds its regular meetings at Sandburg Education Center in downtown Anoka.

After requesting district staff come up with options for a second phase of budget cuts and receiving two routes of action, the Anoka-Hennepin School Board did not provide direction back during its Oct. 28 meeting. The Phase II cuts, which are slated for a Nov. 25 vote, stalled for more questions from the board.

“I think I submitted over 20 questions over the weekend, but I had no expectation they would be answered instantly,” Board Member Matt Audette said. “... But my point really is, the deeper you dig, the more questions you have. As I sat here today, I think I wrote, by the way, 15 more. So the questions really stem from deeper analysis of what we’re proposing to cut.”
