On Oct. 17, business leaders met at Caledonia Haulers office and toured the facility for an after hours social event that was sponsored by Caledonia Forward.

Dennis Gavin, CEO/president of Caledonia Haulers, welcomed the group and provided appetizers and a wine tasting experience. Gavin has been with the company since January of 1978.

Operations Manager Zach Mierau monitors many screens in the operations area to keep things running smoothly. Trucks and trailers are monitored instantly across the nation.

Gavin showed attendees an area used for training where they highlight things that new employees should not do. There is a board posted with examples from past mistakes. The company focuses on continuous improvement and safety is the top priority.
