Congratulations to Firefighter Michael Jabs, the recipient of the Mound Fire Department Firefighter of the Year Award for 2022.

The recipient of the award is determined by a nomination and evaluation process, which involves the entire team of Mound firefighters. The firefighters vote for staff members that have had an outstanding and consistent job performance. The result is one individual being selected as the department’s Firefighter of the Year.
