By the slimmest of margins Tuesday (Dec. 3), the Anoka County Board approved a 16.68% property tax increase for 2025.

The board voted 4-3 in favor of the certified tax levy totaling $183.102 million and an operations budget of $402 million with Commissioners Mike Gamache (chairman), Julie Jeppson, Mandy Meisner and Scott Schulte in favor and Commissioners Julie Braastad, John Heinrich and Jeff Reinert opposed.
