A new assistant city administrator, Aaron Berg, was also approved for hire during the Columbus City Council during Dec. 23, 2024, meeting.

Berg will work alongside current city administrator Jack Davis and in an interview with the Forest Lake Times, Davis said that Berg’s experience in city administration and council roles will bring expertise to the new role.
