With the start of the new year, Westwood Westonka, a branch of Westwood Community Church, is embracing a fresh chapter, settling into its new home at the Gillespie Center. This move not only marks a new beginning for the church but also offers expanded opportunities for serving the local community.
Since its launch in spring 2022, Westwood Westonka had been gathering in the Little Theater at Mound Westonka High School. However, upcoming construction projects at the school prompted the church to begin searching for a new space. After more than a year of consideration, the Gillespie Center emerged as the ideal location.
