Trinity Lutheran Orono hosted their AGAPE Gift Market in November followed by mini-markets in December. Shoppers from the area say it’s one of the best holiday markets around! All general proceeds from the market are distributed to several organizations.
The market includes a variety of raffle items donated by local businesses like Gopher ACE, Carbone’s, Red Rooster, Birch’s on the Lake, Lakeside Liquor, Liquor Barn, and more. In addition to raffle items, items created by the team, 19 individual vendors participate all donating at least 20 percent of their sales to the general market proceeds which support organizations. The AGAPE team begins planning for the November market in January of each year.
