CITY OF FARMINGTON, MN DAKOTA COUNTY ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR CITY PROJECT NO. 24-16 2024 SHADE TREE BOND GRANT ASH REMOVALS NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that bids will be received hand delivered or mailed, until 10:00 am CDT on October 9, 2024, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud for the furnishing of all labor, materials, and all else necessary for the following: 329 tree removals, stump removals/restoration Together with traffic control, removals, restoration, erosion control, and other related appurtenances. All in accordance with Project Manual, September 17th, 2024, prepared by the City. Bidders can view the contract documents on the City of Farmington website, www.farmingtonmn.gov. The contract documents are also on file and may be examined, or a free hard copy obtained, at the office of the City Engineer, 430 Third Street, Farmington, MN 55024. No bid will be considered unless sealed and delivered to the City Clerk. Immediately following expiration of the time for receiving bids, the City Engineer or his representative will publicly view bids at City Hall, 430 Third Street, Farmington, MN. Prior to bid opening time stated above, bids will remain sealed and not allowed to be reviewed. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality therein, and to adjourn the meeting to a later date for the purpose of further consideration of the bids and taking action thereon. No bid may be withdrawn within 60 days after the date of opening of bids. The City Council will consider award of contract at their regular meeting held at City Hall on October 21, 2024, at 7:00 pm in the Council Chambers at 430 Third Street, Farmington, MN.
