COLUMBIA HEIGHTS PUBLIC SCHOOLS MINUTES OF THE REGULAR SCHOOL BOARD MEETING JUNE 11, 2024 Chair Mueller called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Members present: Ms. Granlund, Ms. Houle, Ms. Mueller, Ms. Palmer, Ms. Pettway, and Superintendent Stenvik Members absent: Ms. Medearis AGENDA APPROVAL/ADJUSTMENTS, ANNOUNCEMENTS Approval of Agenda motion by Granlund, seconded by Houle, to approve the agenda as presented. Motion by Houle, seconded by Palmer, to approve the action required for implementation of the items on the consent agenda. School Board Minutes for May 28, Personal Report March 2024 Treasurers Report. The motion passed unanimously. Motion by Pettway, seconded by Granlund to accept with appreciation the May donations of $10,705. 2023-2024 contributions to date: $147,450.90. Passed unanimously. EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR: Leueen Saavedra Placement Center Cultural Liaison Information provided: Strategic Plan, Communications Plan, Workers Compensation Insurance Renewal Motion by Houle, seconded by Ganlund, to adopt the following resolution for continuing membership in the Minnesota State High School League: Passed unanimously. Motion by Palmer, seconded by Palmer, to approve the Recommendation of Wit and Wisdom. The Motion passed unanimously. Motion by Houle seconded by Pettway to approve the federal title grants, Motion passed unanimously. Motion by Pettway, seconded by Palmer, to approve the Solar Panel Resolution. Motion passed unanimously. Motion by Houle, seconded by Granlund, to approve the attached 2024-2025 Resolution approving Zena Stenvik to act as the Identified Official with Authority (IOwA) and Stephanie Alverez to act as the IOwA Proxy for Columbia Heights Public School District 0013-01.
