Apple Valley's Mid-Winter Fest will be held Saturday, Feb. 1, at Johnny Cake Ridge Park West from 3-7 p.m.

Local residents can skate, dance, fly a kite and more during the 47-year-old Apple Valley Mid-Winter Fest 3-7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, at Johnny Cake Ridge Park West, 14255 Johnny Cake Ridge Road.

The event will also include food, music and fireworks, in addition offering a chance to try out a variety of winter sports (snow permitting) and some other cool activities.
