The Caledonia Area girls basketball team, ranked No. 6 in Class AA, saw action against the Class A No. 1 ranked Goodhue Wildcats on Thursday, Jan. 30, but came up short during the battle, losing 64-60.
Caledonia also faced off against the Maple River Eagles in a doubleheader with the boys teams and won by a score of 80-37.
