More than 200 Houston area residents got to meet Ruby, JR, Piper and friends the weekend of Jan. 4-5. And “whoooo” are Ruby, JR, and Piper, you may ask?
They are just a few of the “whoooo’s-whooooo” ambassador owls at the International Owl Center (IOC) in Houston. The Owl Center held another of its very popular Neighbor Weekends that offer free admission to the Owl Center programs for residents of neighboring counties.
