The Spring Lake Park School Board quickly got through its organizational matters and onto business during its first meeting of the year on Jan. 14.

The school board elected its officers by proclamation, meaning only one nomination was made and therefore no electing votes needed to be held between candidates. Tony Easter was elected Chairperson, Amy Hennen as Vice-Chair, Melody Skelly as Clerk, Sam Villella as Treasurer and Kelly McClellan as Parliamentarian.
